Nominating Committee Recruits Lay Leaders
The Nominating Committee actively recruits candidates each year for leadership positions on the Board of Trustees, the Foundation Board, and the Nominating Committee for the next church year. The leadership for the 2013-2014 Church Year have been selected at the Annual Meeting, but if you have interests for the next Church Year, stay in touch with the Nominating Committee.
Our 154th year will be an exciting and important time to serve and if you have an interest in leadership let the Nominating Committee know for next year. Building on our positive energy and growth, we will continue to advance our mission and visionary goals. Many new programs and initiatives are underway under the leadership of Reverend Justin Schroeder and Reverend Jen Crow and a group of talented staff and lay leadership. Serving as an elected member of one of these bodies provides unique opportunities to:
1) Deepen and enrich your personal connection to the Church;
2) Expand your knowledge of Church and UU history and polity;
3) Broaden your circle of relationships with members, staff, and the community which we serve;
4) Collaborate with passionate ministers and lay leaders to advance the mission of the Church: To give, receive, and grow in the Universalist spirit of love and hope!
