An Introduction to Housing and Homelessness
Join us as we continue to deepen our understanding and commitment to housing and homelessness in Minnesota. First Universalist has identified Housing Justice as a key focus area for the next few years, building on our successful partnerships with Simpson Housing Services and Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.
Search for Home is an educational and interactive training that covers the history of homelessness and low-income housing, the range of housing options available today, the cost of homelessness, and an examination of solutions. Congregants will leave the training with expanded knowledge of the systemic causes of homelessness and tools for working through First Universalist Church as an advocate for affordable housing in our community.
