Help the Church Community
There are many creative and unique ways to help the church help our community. Here are some of them at the current time:
1. Volunteers for Dec. 18 intergenerational service project.
2. Tell our stories -- in photobooks, video and print projects -- as part of the History Hounds team. Contact: mikki@firstuniv.org
3. Join the Congregational Care team. Contact: sandy@firstuniv.org.
4. Participate on a Welcome team on Sunday -- 12-16 people serve on each team, one Sunday per month, to help newcomers navigate in the building, keep the coffee stations stocked, answer questions, greet people at the front door, and more. It's a great way to meet others and find new friends, while helping our church provide a warm greeting to all who seek us.
